Prologue - Week 6

The prologue is the starting piece of the performance, it introduces the story. All the actors decided that we needed to incorporate some of Shakespeare's lines. Emily had asked for the shortened version of the prologue from 'Romeo and Juliet'. 

We all suggested ways that we could present the prologue. We needed to keep in mind that this is the first thing people are going to see therefore it needs to draw people in and make them interested. In the end we decided on both actors and dancers would whisper their line from the prologue in stage blacks, creating an eerie atmosphere to show that everything ends in death.
